USE OF INVESTMENT
MAEDCO is committed to fostering economic growth throughout McDonough County through business retention, business expansion, and business attraction efforts. Membership investments provide the resources needed to support these initiatives while helping create opportunities for new jobs and private investment in our region.
Ten percent (10%) of investment dollars are deposited into MAEDCO’s Seed Capital Fund. This resource is used to provide financial support for the development and/or expansion of business and industry that creates or adds new jobs in our area. Through the continued support of our investors, the Seed Capital Fund has accumulated more than $200,000.
The remaining ninety percent (90%) of investment dollars support MAEDCO’s operational and administrative expenses, allowing the organization to carry out its mission of retaining existing businesses, assisting local business expansion, attracting new business investment, and advancing economic development opportunities throughout McDonough County.
